What happens to our bodies after we die?

We all know that after the death of a person, the body is buried at a burial ground. The body undergoes decomposition inside the soil with the help of microbes and also insects that feed over the body.

The body which is exposed to air is much fastly decomposed then that body which is present in water or which is buried in the soil. The body undergoes several changes before they are decomposed such as settling of the blood in the lower muscles of the body within a few hours such as eight hours.

Also the body develops rigidity and causes muscle problem as it loses it ability to contract and relax. Then the body undergoes the process of decomposition. In this, the body loses its complete ability.

According to the places where the body is buried, the rate of decomposition is decided. The body if it is buried inside a soil containing acidic pH, the rate of decomposition is much more. The body is buried in neutral pH soil conditions then the rate of decomposition is a bit slow. The bodies in acidic soil are quickly decomposed along with the bones and the bodies under neutral soil remain inside the earth for many centuries intact.

Usually the people have various religious customs and traditions regarding the burial of the people. The people have various burial sites in which the dead people are buried. But as the population in the cities have increased the sites of burial are reduced which lead to the modifications in the burial methods.

The electrical crematory which allows the body to be transform into ash within less time with the help of electricity. The various new methods such as sky scraper burial sites amd use of biological tree coffins are newly innovated for this burial purpose.
